CASA DEI GRIFI – ROMAN MOSAIC

Casa dei Grifi – Mosaico Romano is a faithful reproduction of an ancient Roman floor motif, meticulously crafted using traditional techniques and polychrome marbles. The design is not original but directly inspired by the geometric patterns found in the mosaics of the Domus Tiberiana on the Palatine Hill in Rome. Through precise tessellation and subtle chromatic contrasts, Giorgia Lattanzi captures the illusionistic depth of the original, preserving and celebrating the visual language of classical antiquity in a contemporary, tactile form.
